This project required integrating a new roof structure around an existing outdoor stainless steel cook station. The design was developed to provide shade and weather protection while maintaining clearances, usability, and proper proportions. Detailed plans allowed the builder to execute efficiently and achieve a clean, functional result.
Design for Fabrication
This battery enclosure was designed with real-world constraints in mind. Beyond the model itself, the design accounts for material selection, fastening strategy, fabrication accuracy, and system requirements. The result is a lightweight, compact, and serviceable enclosure built for durability and ease of maintenance.
System Design
Installing large industrial systems requires early coordination around permitting, layout, and equipment clearances. This dust collection system was designed by modeling existing conditions and identifying fitment issues in advance. A detailed plan enabled smooth installation while improving air quality and reducing heating losses.
Machine Improvements
Sometimes an old machine needs new tricks. For this abrasive tumbler, a custom weldment assembly was designed, fabricated, and tested. Detailed drawings document the solution to be scaled in quantity, which optimizes machine operation and scales production for the client.
